$2,000 Scholarship

This student is known for being an active participant on the team, a leader of the Architectural group, always pursuing answers to questions. This second-year ACE student with a 3.96 GPA completed challenging academic courses, including American Sign Language, as well as Project Lead-the-Way classes, discovering an interest in Mechanical Engineering.

With all that, this student has been active on the high school swim team, helped coach high school and middle school swim teams, played tennis, participated in Show Choir, is a Student Council member, member of Student Ambassadors, worked part time, and achieved honors that include four-year academic letter, varsity swim team letter, recognition as swim team manager, and employee of the month. Mentors commented on this student’s great communication and leadership skills, for being an active participant on the team, and a leader of landscaping work in the Architectural group. This second-year ACE and AP scholars student, with a perfect 4.51 GPA is in the top 3% of the class - with highest distinction, on the Presidential Honor Roll for 9 semesters, and completed challenging academic courses, as well as Project Lead-the-Way classes, discovering an interest in Civil Engineering.

With all that, this student has been active on the Golf and Soccer teams as co-captain, served as a peer tutor, will graduate with 215 service hours to achieve a service cord honor, and received the Optimist Club Senior Service and Leadership Award. Congratulations to Brennen Hogan, Dowling Catholic High School
